pregnany # 3!

Well, I guess by the title of this post you already have realized, we are expecting again!
I had been hoping for a while that we would get pregnant, but I wasn't sure if we would because I am still nursing Avery.  but sure enough, we are!

I am so overjoyed!!  I know some people probably think I'm crazy because Avery is only going on 7 months, but I always wanted my children close in age, and I couldn't be more happy with God's timing!
I need to get an ultrasound to see how far along I am.  because I am nursing my cycle has been sporadic, so I can't say for sure when I am due.  but if we were going by my last cycle, I would be nine weeks pregnant! wahoo!
This pregnancy has been so different from the last 2.  I have barely had any morning sickness, and have had lots of energy and have not really felt over tired at all.
I grew much faster with both previous pregnancies, but I have barely noticed a difference.  (although today, I did notice my pants were getting to be more uncomfortable around my waist)

I am so looking forward to this next few months as we look forward to meeting our new little family member!

6 months

Avery is 6 months and 2 weeks old.   And apparently when one turns six months, one transforms from a little baby into a fully active child.

he is everywhere.. all the time! He can't crawl yet, but what he lacks in motor skills, he makes up for in creativity. he will roll, scoot, slide, and flail to get him where he wants to go.  and where he wants to go is usually a place I don't want him to be.
the other day while in the kitchen, I hear yells that clearly were meant to say "help!!"   I go into the living room to find him wedged between the tv and the wall,  in a space that I'd be surprised if a cat could fit through.
He really does feel its his right to swat at every forkful of food that is headed towards my mouth, and if I move out of his reach, then he also has the right to glare at me and yell "ADDAAAA" at the top of his lungs.  (apparently he thinks his Daddy is on his side)

I love my son dearly, but if he reaches in my mouth and scratches my gums one more time, he may find his banana cereal puff treats have mysteriously disappeared.

By the time Kurt gets home from work, I find myself very relieved to get a breather from my oh so adorable yet oh so mischievous little one.  But once he is in bed for the night, I find myself chuckling over all the trouble he got into during that day, and sneaking into his room for one more peek at his peaceful little face.

Being a Mom is hard. physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  But so worth every single second!

Oh and here is his latest adventure..
your right Avery, the tray was a nuisance being attached to the swing anyways, much better this way.
 Oh.. and one more...
"I love to pull the blanket over myself, but once it's there I scream like I'm being attacked until mom recues me."
